Vitamin B-6 is Great

B-complex vitamins, especially B-6 must be present for your body's normal, depression-fighting chemical reactions to occur. B-6 deficiency is very common in Americans, and that "deficiency" is measured against an already ridiculously low US RDA of only two milligrams.Therapeutic doses between 100 and 500 milligrams daily are commonly prescribed by physicians for PMS relief.
A daily total of a few hundred milligrams of individual B-6, especially if taken in addition to the entire B-complex to ensure balance, is very safe indeed. Those with lower blood levels of vitamin B6 had higher risks of lung cancer, no matter what their smoking status. Doctors say healthy levels of B vitamins help make and maintain healthy DNA – an important factor in the prevention of cancer. Vitamin B6 is in a variety of foods including meats, poultry, fish, grains, beans and some fruits and vegetables – such as avocados, broccoli and bananas. Such a great mood lifter!
