Vitamin B-12

Vitamin B-12 (folic acid)  is needed for the body as it is part of the important B-vitamins. It is responsible for the synthesis of our DNA & RNA & the functions of the brain. Yet, some people do not get the enough B-vitamins in their diet. Meat, poultry, krill, eggs, fish all have a decent amount of B-vitamins. It has much less in vegetables which is why vegetarians lack vitamin B-12. It helps in breaking fats & carbohydrates which in turn help people with their weight loss goals. Also, it helps in repairing cells, & boosting the immune system making it less susceptible for you to get sick. More energy is always a plus in my book as well! Approximately 10% of the population is deficient in B-vitamins. Are you in the 10 percent that is deficient? Have a good day!
